Evidence and Uncertainty - helix.ax

Helix produces attributable evidence for a declared decision. It does not turn every signal into a verdict or conceal what could not be established.

Three independent dimensions

Evidence sufficiency	What Helix could inspect and what was unsupported, partial, or failed

These dimensions do not collapse into one score. Content can be useful and sensitive at the same time. Low-risk content can still be irrelevant. A result can also remain unresolved when evidence is insufficient.

Preserve the denominator

A trustworthy result accounts for the complete authorized population, not only the items that produced findings. Unsupported media, unavailable processing, timeouts, failures, abstentions, and deliberate exclusions remain visible so a reader can distinguish missing evidence from negative evidence.

Keep provenance attached

Evidence is meaningful only with its basis: the source population, declared use, admitted methods, processing state, and exact result. Preserving that chain makes a decision reviewable and allows a later change to be compared with the state that was actually approved.

Helix supplies evidence and preserves its basis. The customer supplies purpose and policy, makes the decision, and controls downstream use.
