# API reference

> Status of the public Helix API reference.

The public API reference is not published yet.

Helix's private runtime contract is still gated behind prototype and launch
controls. When the public contract is ready, this section will expose a
public-safe OpenAPI reference generated from the approved runtime surface.

Until then, the docs do not publish endpoint shapes, request examples, or
response examples that could drift from the accepted contract.
